House rules, 2026 edition

Issued under article LP 15 of Country Law no. 2018-10 of 29 March 2018, as amended. It is given to you before booking and forms part of the contract, together with its watersports annex.

The rules in brief

This summary does not replace the full document, which alone is authoritative.

Capacity and occupants

  • Maximum 12 people, babies and children included; three bedrooms and an open mezzanine with no door.
  • The person who books stays at the house for the whole rental and is answerable for their group.
  • The name and age of each occupant are given before arrival, with an ID document.
  • Visitors are welcome during the day with Rameha’s agreement; they do not stay overnight. Minimum stay: two nights.

Parties, quiet hours and neighbours

  • Parties and events are not allowed, whatever their size. No outdoor sound system, DJ or marquee.
  • Quiet hours from 9 pm to 7 am, indoors and in the garden.
  • Non-smoking house, e-cigarettes included; no naked flames indoors. No pets.

Arrival, departure and life in the house

  • Check-in from noon, check-out before 10 am. Inspection report signed on arrival and departure, with photos.
  • Shoes off indoors; please do not roll suitcases on the wooden floors.
  • A departure after 10 am not agreed in advance is charged as an extra day.

Safety and the lagoon

  • Reef shoes are provided: stonefish are invisible. Children never go near the water without an adult.
  • Outrigger canoe, kayaks and paddleboard: each adult user signs the watersports annex, after a demonstration by Rameha; no minor on board without an adult. Buoyancy aid at all times, never at night, never beyond the pass.
  • Cyclone season from November to April: instructions from Rameha and the authorities come first.

Security deposit, tax and serious breaches

  • Security deposit of 150,000 XPF, returned within 7 days of the check-out inspection; any deduction is justified.
  • Tourist tax of the commune of Moorea-Maiao: 60 XPF per adult per night in 2026, children and babies exempt, on top of the price and added to the balance payment.
  • A party, more people than declared or a false statement about the occupants entitles us to end the stay, with no refund.
