Tahiti beach house: Rules and regulations
Between the customer and Tahiti beach house, represented by the owner.
The rental of Tahiti beach house (TBH) is designed to make you feel at home, which is done under certain conditions; the first is that you accept the rules and regulations of TBH as well as the French law governing seasonal rentals by signing it and the conditions of insurance; everything that is put at your disposal in the property indicates the trust we place in you and all our efforts to bring you comfort and satisfaction; please appreciate this choice and in return respect the rules of the house, the owner and the housekeeping team who represent her.
Reception (check in, check out), stewardship, handing over the deposit to a TBH manager.
Deposit
When checking out, please inform the TBH manager if, under your responsibility, any items have been removed and not returned, lost, out of order, stained, torn, broken or scratched; their repair or replacement will be deducted from the deposit; if you replace the item, you must put the invoice in the name of the owner or Tahiti beach house Natea Tetuanui, and the item must be of the same value and not of inferior quality or cost; in the event of dispute, the decision of the TBH manager will prevail. If it is not possible to repurchase the item in Polynesia, the cost will be estimated.
Please do not
wear shoes in the house (local custom);
smoke in the house;
move fire extinguishers;
roll luggage or pull furniture across floors (scratches);
move furniture;
leave household equipment and/or your belongings outside (garage, terrace, beach, garden) in the evening.
encroach on neighboring property, which is bounded by plants;
use the neighbour’s hammock by the sea.
leave your pirogue, kayak or paddle in the sea, but do bring it back up onto the beach;
make noise before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m;
put aluminum chairs in the garden or in the sea;
paint or damage any of the pebbles, stones or artwork on the property;
remove any objects or belongings from the property;
pitch tents or marquees on the property;
hang laundry anywhere other than on the hanging lines of the mezzanine, garage or portable dryers.
modify the structure of the garden, house or outbuildings (no nails, screws, glue or other materials).
use the linen from the cupboard or storeroom.
sit on bed screens, as they may tear;
leave dirty, damp linen in a heap, as it will mildew; please dry it before putting it in a heap or washing it.
leave water-sensitive equipment (darts, petanque balls, games) in the rain.
leave vehicles unlocked with the key in them.
Please
put food in the pantry or fridge to avoid attracting insects or rodents.
padlock your dugout canoe and kayak at night; remove the plug from the dugout canoe so that the rain doesn’t fill it, and leave it in the canoe;
turn off the lights in the house, breezeway, garage and garden, as well as the air-conditioning, fans, etc. when you go out, or when you’re not using them;
close living-room windows (not necessarily with a key) at night, to keep out neighborhood cats, rain and wind;
close the upstairs seaward window if it’s raining and windy (otherwise water can seep into the master bedroom);
double-lock the property (gate and wicket door) at night;
return any borrowed books to the library. Donations of books are welcome.
lock your bike if you go out and stop somewhere.
Tahiti beach house recommends you :
to leave the garbage cans in their place in the back yard;
to sort the garbage cans and take them out to the roadside the day before the days which are annotated on the garbage bins themselves:
Grey, near the gate: greasy paper, dirty plastic trays, everything ;
Green, near the gate: clean paper, cardboard, clean plastic bottles;
Leaves under the mango tree: leaves only, no branches or grass.
Edible remains (meat, fish), fruit and vegetable peelings: for crabs or fish, in the sea;
Battery containers: U stores 200m away, gas stations;
Glass container: either near the To’a Moorea supermarket, 1 km south of the quay or at the Are supermarket in Paopao.
For your safety, beware of
crab holes in the seaward lawn;
coral and stonefish in the sea;
possible currents or wind before taking the outrigger canoe or kayak or paddle
